Social Studies communities project

Hello J4,

This is the study guide for the our "communities project". Here you will find the questions that need to be answered for this project as well as the structure it must follow.

1. Choose a community you have visited;

2. Answer these questions about the community:
- Is it a city or a town?
- What is the population?
- What languages are spoken there?
- What is the currency?
- What are the tourist attractions?
- What means of transportation are used there?
- Give examples of its culturas aspects.
- What are the natural resources?
- What is the community famous for?
- What crops do they grow? What goods do they make?

3. Write a text about the community with this information;

4. collect material about the community (travel brochures, postcards, pictures, souvenirs and others);

5. Make a poster containing:
- title;
- border;
- pictures with labels;
- text;
- other illustrative material.

6. Make a presentation on Tuesday, June 1st
